The Multidisciplinary Council seeks to improve the quality of the professional activities engaged in by all of its members in order to ensure quality service. It serves as a forum for exchange, sharing and professional discussion. The clinical concerns of the professionals who work directly with young people and their families are the core of the Council’s considerations.
Members of the Multidisciplinary Council hold a college or university degree and perform functions directly related to health and social services or research and teaching.
The Administrative and Support Staff Advisory Board is the professional organization for personnel that perform an administrative or support function. Each member, regardless of his or her function, has an important, if not vital, role to play in fulfilling our mission of helping youth facing challenges and their families. Through its commitments and accomplishments, this Committee brings its members closer together and strengthens their sense of belonging.
The Committee’s purpose is to advise the Executive Director on:
- the technical and material organization of the Youth Centre;
- the development and updating of guidelines and policies;
- measures to be taken to improve the quality of life in the workplace and recognition of administrative and support staff;
- any other matters deemed relevant by the executive.
The Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee serves as a forum for discussion and co-operation on issues related to the promotion of health and safety in the workplace and on prevention issues. It determines directions and priorities for health and safety in the workplace and helps to educate, inform and train staff according to these priorities.
The Committee is composed of union and Youth Centre representatives and falls under the jurisdiction of the Human Resources Department. It acts in an advisory capacity and can make recommendations.
Human resources play an important role in improving the quality and efficiency of our services.
Indeed, the Montérégie Youth Centre’s Human Resources Department is responsible for preparing a Human Resources Development Plan as well as associated policies and action plans. These are designed to support and enhance the level of employee commitment toward young people and their families and ensure that employees are properly qualified.
